Question:

I have a Kitchen Aid Teakettle and it has hard water stains it is enamel interior how do I clean these white stains?

Answer:
You will need several items that are easy to get. Water, cleaning brush for the spout, and lemon juice or white vinegar. First, fill with water until about 50% full. Then add the white vinegar until the kettle is full. Boil this mixture. Leave the kettle sit overnight or for several hours. Empty the teakettle. Now, fill the kettle with water and boil the water. Repeat until the vinegar smell is gone.

You can substitute lemon juice for the vinegar. Use the cleaning brush to clean the spout if you want the spout cleaned also.
