I have this coffee maker and after cleaning it several times, the coffee always has a burned taste to it. I've tried several different brands of coffee and it does not change anything. Also, when you have the lid open, it smells as if plastic is burning which is what the coffee tastes like. I would not recommend this coffee maker.
