This unit is a coffee on demand machine that can dispense up to twelve cups of coffee without the use of a carafe. This is and easy to use and elegantly designed coffeemaker with contemporary styling.

Some of the negative reviews talked about how the unit didn't have a carafe and that you had to pour water into the reservoir. I would suggest that these purchasers should have bought a unit with a carafe. One of the advantages of a carafe less unit is that you don't have to worry about spilling coffee while pouring. You just put your cup under the dispenser and fill your cup. Just like at your favorite convenience store.

Summary
In summary the biggest positives were that you could keep the coffee hot for up to 2 hours or much longer (depending on the review) and still have a brew that didn't have that bitter burnt taste. The biggest negative was the need to pour water into the reservoir and that this resulted in spilling. Overall about 65% of the reviews were very favorable with the rest being average to bad.
