This coffeemaker is a no frills machine that perks great tasting coffee. According to customers who purchased this coffeemaker it is easy to use and makes coffee with good aroma and taste. One problem that some users but not all had was that over a period of several months use the coffee temperature got lower. Eventually the brewed coffee was only lukewarm.
The unit comes with a 1 year warranty and a built in Brita® Filter. The purpose of the filter is to reduce chlorine and to improve the flavor. The filter accounts for about a cup of water, so if you choose not to use it you need to adjust for the difference.
The AromaDeluxe Coffeemaker has a capacity of 10 cups with a pause and serve feature which allows serving while brewing. The Braun KF510 has an hour glass shape. For easy handling and to protect against overflowing has a pivoting filter basket. The parts are dishwasher safe, handle is non-slip, and comes with a unique filter release button. Has a side water level indicator and a storage compartment for the cord. On top of the water tank is a marker to let you know when the water filter needs replacement.
Currently customer service representatives are located in India. When under warranty you would have to ship the unit to an authorized dealer/repair facility. In order to get the unit repaired you would have to spend around $8 in shipping costs depending on your location.
