This is a rather unique espresso machine that can be used on any gas or electric stovetop. Use it for making authentic European espresso or by adding frothed milk you can also make cappuccinos. For cappuccinos you can also add sugar, powdered cinnamon, nutmeg, or grated orange peel, with a topping of cream and/or chocolate. Makes 3, 6, or 9 demitasse cups of espresso. Unit is small enough to pack for traveling, or to take with you anywhere.

Using the steam pressure method of brewing for making espresso and cappuccino. Differs from the CX-25 in that it has an added pressure gauge to make even better tasting espresso. This unit forces live steam and hot water under the pressure of boiling water through coffee grounds to extract all of the flavor and aroma. This method of brewing with the pressurized steam vapor method is preferred by espresso connoisseurs because boiling destroys some ot the natural elements that contribute to the espresso's flavor and aroma. This method prevents that from occurring. This espresso maker will make 3, 6, or 9 demitasse cups of espresso which can also be used to make cappuccino.
