Control buttons can be universally understood because instead of labels they have symbolic icons. Another item making it simpler to use is the filter sitting in the decanter making it easier to use. The water filter is replaceable and should last up to two years under normal use. Every cup of coffee from the first poured to the last is the same heat level with the automatic keep-warm function. No more sore wrists or dripping coffee on the counter with the drip-free spout and the generous size handle on the carafe.
