The Braun Tassimo Hot Beverage System TA-1400 is a hot beverage system that brews coffee in about a minute using patented T-discs. These T-discs use barcode technology for brewing, everything the machine needs to know about brewing the t-disc is contained in the barcode. Barcode tells the unit how long to brew, how much water to use, and what temperature to use for optimal brewing of the particular t-disc you insert into the Braun Tassimo Hot Beverage System TA 1400. You also have the option of customizing the strength of the brew to match your own particular taste. T-Discs come in many different brands including Gevalia, Twinings and Suchard.
Brews drinks at the touch of a button. You pour the brew directly into the cup from the t-disc. You don't need to do any measuring of coffee grounds, there is no messy cleanup. This unit is silver with black accents and has an 11 ounce capacity. Comes with a two year limited warranty and meaures 16 inches high, 15 inches in length, and is 10 inches in depth. Unit is provided with a removable 68 ounce water tank and has an adjustable cup stand for various sizes of mug. T-discs are available in coffee, tea, espresso, milk based lattes and cappuccinos, and hot chocolate. This easy to clean unit has mostly dishwasher safe parts. The unit weighs 7 1/2 pounds and measures 11.9 inches high, 11.1 inches wide, and 12.2 inches deep. The TA 1400 comes with a two year limited warranty. Brewing time is around 60 seconds and you can brew one cup after another without any waiting.
