Replacement Carafe
For Giada De Laurentiis Coffee Maker

Could not find a replacement carafe for the Giada De Laurentiis coffee maker. Would definitely not ever purchase any of her products again, as you will absolutely not be able to get service or parts. LOUSY!

Apparently you can get replacement carafes from Cuisinart. Seems that Cuisinart makes the replacment carafe. They are rather expensive, but if you want one, you can get it. They are at this point in time $24 plus shipping and handling which comes to about $4 more. You need to call 1-800-726-0190 to order your new replacement Giada carafe.

Hope this helps sooth the nerves of all of you who couldn't find a replacement. Must be very frustrating up till now.

I read the comments regarding replacing the carafe, figuring many are 5 years old therefore Ms. Gaiada's team by now would have figured out HOW TO MAKE A REPLACEMENT CARAFE AVAILABLE!!! I spent the last hour searching multiple websites NO ONE has a replacement.

I give up - I'm throwing out the coffee maker and buying another one of a different brand that has replacement carafe available!!! They crack. They get dropped. Accidents happen. How can smart business people at Target or in the Giada organization overlook such a SIMPLE thing? Pure stupidity.

We've had this coffee maker since October 2010. The carafe broke this morning. From reading the other reviews, I don't how we managed to get lucky regarding the longevity. Am now researching finding a replacement carafe.

Very attractive. No problem with the carafe and I've had it for two years and still using it. No problem with pouring coffee....no dripping from carafe. I am noticing that the plate does not stay as hot as it used to but that could be because I've had it for a couple of years.

When cleaning the coffee maker I use white vinegar and water and it looks as good as new. When washing the carafe, dish washing liquid takes care of it, except for coffee stains...just add a little white vinegar and it's good as new.

I love it!

When this one stops working, I will definitely consider purchasing another.

What is the part number of the carafe you ordered from Cuisinart to use in your Gia de Laurentiis coffee maker?
I called Cuisinart. They don't know which of their carafe fit the GDL machine.

I purchased my gdl solely because of the looks. Big mistake.
First thing was stupid cone filters. Second was poorly designed pour spout. It didn't drip, it poured. I had to use a plastic pitcher and make marks for the cup lines to pour water in to the reservoir without drenching the counter. Warming plate was not hot enough. Broke the carafe today. I'm off to the coffee pot store now. Not even gonna bother trying to find an unobtainable carafe. Been hopeing it would break for three years.

Guess we were lucky. Our carafe lasted a year before breaking while hand washing!!! Never buy this over priced machine again.

The plastic "stainless" started peeling about a month after I purchased, Now the carafe has cracked. Definitely won't make this mistake again. Shame on you Giada for putting your name on this crap.

I also can't find a replacement the market. Went for a Blacker and Decker replacement carafe from WalMart. It didn't fit perfectly, but works.

The worst carafe I have ever had in a coffee maker. Very thin at the spot. It broke right in the area of the pouring spout while I was washing it. I will not buy any more of her products.

I went against my better judgment when buying this thing. So sad that she did not put her name to a green product. What a waste of a perfectly decent coffee machine. No luck finding a replacement carafe anywhere. buyer beware!!

The carafe drips or spills. I can't pour slowly enough or at the right angle to keep from making a mess on the counter. Very poor design altogether.

Horrible carafe quality. My first carafe broke so I reordered by calling phone number on my paperwork and found out Cuisinart makes this poor qualify product. They lost my replace carafe order so it took 4 weeks to get the carafe and they charged me $32. THEN the replacement broke in 1.5 week. SERIOUSLY!!!!!!

I bought my pot during the holidays and it cracked right after New Years. I tried to obtain a replacement pot and was advised it is on back order, 6 months later still waiting. I guess I will just have to realize I threw out $50 and buy another pot.

We've had the coffee maker for about a year and it makes a good cup of cofee. I had some problems with how it poured at firs. You have to pour very slowly or it will spill. The carafe broke while we were washing it and we cannot find a replacement.

purchased the giada coffee maker because i liked the sleek styling and interesting shaped carafe. today, after handwashing the carafe, i put it upsidedown on the counter to dry and it rolled over and cracked! I purchased the product less than a week ago and i'm very disappointed that i will now have to throw the entire thing away because of no way to replace the glass carafe

I had the same experience. I like the coffee maker, but the carafe broke after a few months and I can't find a replacement. Very disappointed. So I have to trash a practically new coffee maker because of a crack in the carafe.

I have searched high and low for a website or store that carries replacement carafes for this coffee maker to NO AVAIL. If you want to spend a fortune on a carafe specifically made for this coffee maker, not to mention the cost of shipping & handling charges, then call this # 800/405-9934. Otherwise, your better off purchasing an entirely new coffeemaker. I would recommend avoiding the Giada brand.

Purchased this coffee maker a year ago and am very unhappy with it now. It will not brew a full pot of coffee, just drips and drips and steams and gurgles. Worst coffee pot ever.
