Be prepared to take your filter back to the store. I just purchased an 8 - 12 cup filter. The box claimed it would fit ALL 8 - 12 cup basket style coffee makers. Well, it doesn't!!! I tried it in 3 coffee makers, mine, my mother's and the one at work. It fit NONE!!! The filter is too high. It wont let the top of the coffee maker close all the way. Stick with the paper filters. Save yourself a trip back to the store.
