You just plug the unit it, add your coffee beans, set the lid on tight, then push down on the button, count to ten, turn upside down to fill the lid with grounds, put the grounds in the lid into your brewing basket, replace lid, and your done. The grinder makes enough grounds for a 12 cup coffee maker. Depending on the type of coffee maker you use, grind the beans for a longer or shorter period of time. The longer you grind the finer the grounds will be.
