It weighs in at 22 pounds which means it will not travel while grinding, making it very stable.
The manufacturer tests all Mazzer grinders with coffee beans, therefore you will probably find some remnants of grinds. This may cause some purchasers to think they are getting a refurbished or used model, when in fact it is brand new.
The unit is available in several colors, although not sure which color other than black Amazon carries. There is also a silver model, black model, and a red model. The doser chamber features clear windows which remain virtually free from marring, scratching, and discoloration over time.
