Summary: Adding coffee and water is a snap, coffee tastes great and is hot. Controls are easy to operate but you do need to read the instructions and follow them the first time around. If you don't have any patience for this don't buy this machine. The glass carafe is thin and breaks easier than most other carafes, but not a major issue. They do sell replacement carafes in white and black.
