This is a step up from the cheaper model. Made of solid metal rather than cheap plastic so it is much more durable and will last much longer. Being heavier is doesn't move around on the counter while grinding your coffee beans. You are supposed to clean after every use, but it will tolerate waiting longer between cleanings and still work properly. Has enough settings to please most anybody using any type of coffee maker from Turkish to siphon coffee makers.

This grinder has a larger capacity than many other lower priced grinders. Not only that, it is also much quieter than most other inexpensive grinders. Opens easily, spills less, and can grind an entire pound of coffee beans in 5 to 6 loads. Cord storage provided to keep your kitchen counter uncluttered.

Grinder is worth the price. It makes coffee taste better with the batches of ground coffee provided by this unit. Grind is consistent and you get a large selection of levels from fine to coarse. Also, the grinder does a decent job while remaining quieter than many other inexpensive grinders similar in price and style.

For a mid-range prices grinder this is a decent coffee bean grinder. It grinds loudly, but less noisy than many others in this price range. Features such as the different settings and the timer work great. You can grind for any coffeemaker from a French press to a drip coffee maker. Grind espresso or just plain coffee. Unit works best when cleaned after every use, so if you don't want to do that, you should probably just buy pre-ground coffee. Almost all grinders need to be cleaned after each use.
