These T-discs use barcode technology for brewing, everything the machine needs to know about brewing the t-disc is contained in the barcode. Barcode tells the unit how long to brew, how much water to use, and what temperature to use for optimal brewing of the particular t-disc you insert into the Braun Tassimo TA 1400 Hot Beverage System. You also have the option of customizing the strength of the brew to match your own particular taste. T-Discs come in many different brands including Gevalia, Twinings and Suchard.
Brews drinks at the touch of a button. You pour the brew directly into the cup from the t-disc. You don't need to do any measuring of coffee grounds, there is no messy cleanup. This unit is silver with black accents and has an 11 ounce capacity. Comes with a two year limited warranty and meaures 16 inches high, 15 inches in length, and is 10 inches in depth. Unit is provided with a removable 68 ounce water tank and has an adjustable cup stand for various sizes of mug.
