With the Bosch TAS6515UC brewer you get simple and clear instructions making it very easy to operate. It comes with a water filter that is optional to use. Take it or leave it, your choice. Personally, I would use it to improve the quality of the water used for brewing, which will also improve the taste of your coffee.
This is a very efficient and quiet running brewer. It is sturdily constructed, being made to last. Like other coffee makers, it needs some maintenance for the best results. You need to occasionally clean the unit to operate at top efficiency.
The T-discs are barcoded so that everything is already set up to go without any help from you. However, you still are allowed to customize the settings to suit your own personal preferences. One criticism that had been heard in the past was the lack of a wide selection of discs, and the lack of easy availability of the T-discs. I believe this has been rectified to some degree with an ever expanding variety, and with more stores adding them to their shelves. Overall I would highly recommend this coffee brewer.
