This is a personal coffeemaker which brews directly into a 15 ounce travel mug eliminating the need for a carafe. This unit comes equipped with a stainless steel mug which is tapered to fit most any auto or truck cup holders. You can use #1 paper filters if you choose, but a permanent filter is provided to eliminate the need for the paper filter. This is probably good in that you save money on filters and also because the #1 filter is hard to find in stores. It is easily available online however.
You have an auto shut off function eliminating the worry of wondering if you turned off the unit before you left home. The mug provided is dishwasher safe as is the mug lid, filter, and filter basket. The coffeemaker measures 9 3/4 inches by 7 inches by 6 inches and comes with a one year warranty against manufacturing defects.
